| 5 Years! ChicagoSMA has impacted thousands of students in the 5 years we have been in business. Currently, ChicagoSMA is in over 40 schools and has more than 60 artist-teachers instructing music programming in both Illinois and California. We thank you for your support and are excited for the next 5 years! Have you heard about our Musical Adventures class for preschool age children? This is an opportune time for young children to start listening to music and discovering their world. Exposure to music at this age accelerates brain development and sparks social-emotional, motor, language development and more.Through music education we encourage confidence building and students finding their creative selves. The ChicagoSMA mission has always centered around providing the best music education to the community by having artist-teachers who are experts in their field and also live and work in the neighborhood. With this in mind, we are able to create and execute high caliber music programming. |
 Musical Adventures Musical Adventures (PreK-K) is designed for children who are beginning to explore the exciting world of music! Come join Chicago School of Musical Arts to get your child acquainted with music, musicianship and learning a lifelong skill. Students in Musical Adventures: Sing, dance, tell stories, explore rhythm instruments and learn children’s songs from around the world.Engage in exploring the origins of rhythm, melody, and musical styles from various cultures.Build confidence, listening skills, and body awareness.All instruments will be provided! This entertaining program is designed for young musicians to encourage a long-lasting love of music! Ask your administrators to bring Musical Adventures to your school! |
 Artist-Teacher Spotlight: Paige Kizer Paige is a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where she received a Bachelor of Music degree. Paige got her start in music by beginning on the saxophone in elementary school and later venturing into musical theater. She’s been releasing original music since 2019, and plays live with her band Paige and the Kizers. |
