Tina Diaz (she/her) is a dancer, choreographer, and youth instructor based in Chicago, IL. Her passion for teaching began in 2017 while volunteering abroad for an outreach organization called Juntos. With Juntos, Tina performed and taught in various underserved communities within Guatemala. Since then, she’s taught for organizations like The Boys & Girls Club of Chicago, The Irving Park YMCA, Gigi Tonye’ Arts & Fitness, En Las Tablas Performing Arts, Music House, Nexus Performing Arts, and People’s Center for Contemporary and Cultural Arts. She strongly believes that teaching is an opportunity for her to inspire, motivate, and guide her students towards a brighter future.
