Sam Byrne

Specializes in: Dance

Sam began dancing at a studio in St. Louis at the age of three and started competing just a few years later. Training in ballet, hip hop, jazz, acro, and poms prepared her to dance on the Pattonville High School Varsity Dance Team for four years, where she also had the opportunity to compete at UDA Nationals in Orlando, Florida.

She continued her dance career in college, helping her team earn a 1st-place finish at UDA Nationals in 2017 and top-three finishes in the years that followed. Inspired by the dedication and teamwork that collegiate dance required, Sam remained involved in the dance world after graduating in 2020. She continued teaching at her hometown dance studio while performing throughout the St. Louis area.

In 2022, Sam moved to Chicago to pursue her dream of dancing for an NBA team and proudly became a member of the Chicago Bulls dance team. Since then, Chicago has become home, and she has loved being an active part of its dance community. In addition to performing, Sam teaches dance in elementary schools and studios and leads masterclasses and workshops for
high school and college dancers across the Midwest.

Sam is excited to continue growing as both a dancer and an instructor. One of her favorite parts of teaching is sharing her passion for dance while building meaningful connections with her students and helping them grow in both confidence and skill.
