Building Better Brains and Better Lives with Arts Education |
We were inspired to share this article which highlights the positive impact of arts education on brain development and overall well-being. The article emphasizes how engaging in arts activities can lead to improved cognitive skills, social-emotional development, and academic achievement among elementary-aged students, making it a valuable addition to the after-school arts program provided by the company. These are all things we feel passionate about, and are some of the many GREAT reasons to keep your children involved in musical education. |
Artist-Teacher Spotlight: Grace Heuer Grace has been musical for as long as she can remember. She comes from a musical family with a father as a jazz musician and his wife, Grace’s “bonus” mom, a viola player in the Chicago Sinfonietta. Grace graduated from The Chicago Academy for the Arts High school, where she had musical theater training. She then attended Columbia College Chicago where she studied theater. Grace has been a caregiver and nanny for over 15 years. When not working with children, she enjoys entertaining at venues and birthday parties. |
