Anna is a contemporary artist originally from Miami, Florida. At age 2, Anna started competitive gymnastics and ballet. Her love for ballet eventually took over, and Anna spent the next decade and a half practicing. She trained in many styles at Sarah’s School of Dance in Titusville, Florida. She went to Kent State University to pursue a degree in Art Education, but eventually transferred to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts conservatory program with a background in acting and musical theatre. During her time in New York City, she trained and completed workshops at PMT House of Dance and Steps on Broadway. She’s taught ballet, lyrical, and acro and choreographed recital routines to students at Chasing Gravity located in Airway Heights, Washington. Anna has been lucky to train under the likes of Brendan McCall, John Scacchetti, Alex Pepperman, Julia Schaeffer, and Sarah Nelson, and Mack Pereira. Anna identifies as an artist who chooses dance as one of her mediums. Currently, she dances for Chicago Movement Collective’s Claire Bataille Legacy Scholarship and is working on her first solo music project! Anna is excited to be teaching at Chicago School for the Musical Arts and is ready to see where the year will take her!
