Andre Baptista is a Brazilian-born musician and instructor, who moved to Chicago to attend Columbia College of Chicago in 2017. Since then, he has been working as a live-musician as well as a session-musician and instructor. His love for music comes from his family and his upbringing in Brazil, which made him pursue his musical studies in guitars and piano. Being the older sibling & cousin of his family, his love for teaching and working with the children’s musicianship became a fulfilling part of his musical endeavors since he began teaching with ChicagoSMA!
