Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Alexis has always been interested in the arts. Alexis grew up as a first generation Mexican American but surely grew his love for culture and music from across Latin America. He has been playing guitar for 10+ years and has his degree in Jazz Studies which he studied with Zvonimir Tot in the University of Illinois Chicago.
