Stephanie Aaron was born and raised in Peoria, IL, a city with a rich history in the arts dating from the early vaudeville days of the 20th century to its current thriving artistic, musical, and theatrical scene.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in theatre performance and working as a radio personality for several years, Stephanie moved to Chicago to focus her energies on music, specifically as a jazz singer and educator. She has performed at some of the city’s most prestigious hotels and clubs, including Andy’s Jazz Club, The Jazz Showcase, The Peninsula Hotel, The Drake Hotel, Jilly’s on Rush Street, and many others.

She has taught private vocal lessons from her home studio and has been the vocal music instructor at Near North Montessori School for several years, and is pleased to be joining the amazing musicians at CSMA.
