Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts – Theatre, Western Michigan University

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory. Before touring nationally with children’s musicals she performed in many Chicago theaters. Her favorite role is Little Red Riding Hood in Sondheim’s “ Into The Woods” at Theatre on the Lake.

She began teaching and directing theatre for Chicago Public Schools when she saw a need to get kids on stage and off their electronics. She has directed “Annie, “Grease,” “Into The Woods,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and ” High School Musical” for young audiences. Her greatest joy is the rehearsal process when she can create those amazing moments together into a fabulous show!
